Course Overview

Level I Machinery Lubrication Technician builds the practical knowledge that supports consistent, well-controlled lubrication work. The course follows lubricants from receipt and storage through selection, dispensing, and application. Participants examine how oil and grease properties relate to equipment requirements and how careful handling supports lubricant quality throughout this process.

The program connects lubrication fundamentals with daily maintenance activities, including route inspections, oil changes, top-ups, and the care of automatic lubrication systems. It also introduces the contribution of basic oil analysis to equipment care. The emphasis is on understanding the purpose of each activity, following equipment-specific requirements and approved procedures, and keeping clear records.
